Let's Catch Up!

Okie dokie!  This will be a long one!  First of all we have uploaded 2 new files to TPT!  We finished our March Math and Literacy and we uploaded a Monthly Songs file per request from several of our followers!
Both are SUPER cute and I hope you will check them out!
I also wanted to share a FEW more Dr. Seuss ideas!  We have wrapped up our Seuss unit because we had to get busy with our Texas unit!  Our Kindergarten rodeo will be on Friday!!!!  Yee-Haw!

We made the Things from Deanna Jump's Dr. Seuss unit!  The books that the kids created were precious!  I love the Dr. Seuss style language in this one!  LOL!

Our garden lady had a really cute garden/rhyming activity for Dr. Seuss week but the weather was awful....the sun did not shine.  It was too wet to play.  So we had "garden" in the classroom that day!  :)
It was really cute though!  She read the children Hop on Pop (well my kids kind of read to her!) and then did a rhyming activity.  She had 8 items in a tub and the kids had to match them up...which they loved.
We made Deanna Jump's Cat glyphs....

and the wockets in our pockets inspired from Pinterest!

We also made our cat in the hats from Overall Success that we've been doing for years now!
I love the writing they do on the cats hats....I don't know if you can read it but it says...If the cat came into the park this is what I would do. I would play with him on the slide. I had some great ones!

Wacky Wednesday!

We read the foot book and measured each other with feet! Then I have them draw themselves in their wacky outfit and write how many feet tall they are.

Fox in Socks- silly socks!

I saw this cute idea somewhere on Pinterest!  Too cute!  These will be great for the end of the year DVD!

Dr. Seuss week has to be one of the kids favorites!  They loved every minute of it!!!
