Back from SDE in San Marcus...I have lots of ideas rolling around in my head! So, my class celebrated the 100th day of school a day late. Our tradition is to pop 100 balloons. Thanks to my husband and an air compressor, he had gotten this done by the time I got home from SDE :)
Each balloon has a number inside. The kids must stay on their knees and sit on the balloons. They collect their numbers in bags. Then, we assemble a 100 chart with those numbers.
I've never thought about putting the numbers inside the balloons. I put them on the bottom of Hershey Kisses and hide those around the room. Then, we put the numbers in order on chart paper. I may like your idea more!
ReplyDeleteI just love the idea of 100 balloons on 100th day of school. I planned many activities for my kindergarten class but I manage kids and online class assistance services side by side and it is quite tough to manage. I am looking for simple but entertaining ideas to celebrate 100th day and found your's creative!
