Egg Ten Frame Freebie

Thanks for dropping by!  I have another freebie for you....as promised!  This is a fun ten frame game my class will be playing.  I plan on storing the numbers(eggs) in a cute Easter basket.  The kids will pull out 2 numbers and the + or - and create the addition sentence.  Using 2 color counters they will build the equation on their ten frame.  My kiddos are just going to record their sentences on dry erase boards. I wish I would have taken a picture of it in use!  I will try to post one tomorrow!
Enjoy!

My New Creation!!

Happy Saturday!  I have spent the last few weeks creating a Texas Unit for my Kindergarten classroom.  We will be begin talking about America for the next few weeks (with valentines thrown in there, of course).  Then we will begin talking all about our GREAT state of Texas!  I have done this unit for EVERY. SINGLE.  ONE of my 16 years of teaching....and it is always so fun!  While there are a lot of good Texas units for teaching symbols of Tx, etc....I have not really seen anything just for centers....so I created this new unit...mainly for my kindergarten team to use for literacy centers, word work, and math workstations. These are inspired by the wonderful units I have purchased from blogging teachers in the past! It consists of 7 math centers, 7 literacy centers, a pocket chart sentence story, and a Texas song (I have always done) with cards to use (like Bingo).

I would love for the first 2 Texas teachers who comment with their email address to check out this new unit and tell me what you think. Do you love it?  Do I need to add something? Are there any mistakes?  I will put it on sale on TPT hopefully tomorrow!  I can't wait to use this in our classrooms in a few weeks!!!
Have a great weekend!
